Mimi & Sean’s wedding at The Italian Greyhound was a night to remember—an intimate, stylish London venue that was the perfect setting for an epic celebration. Nestled in Marble Arch, this venue combines a relaxed but elegant atmosphere with incredible food and drink, making it an ideal spot for couples looking for something a little different in the heart of the West End.
A Dancefloor-First Wedding
From the start, it was clear that this was a wedding where the party would be front and center. With a Dutch bride and a British groom, the music was all about bringing two cultures together and making sure every single guest hit the dancefloor. From the first track to the last, the energy didn’t drop.
Mimi & Sean opted for Barry White’s "You’re The First, The Last, My Everything" to kick off the evening. A timeless classic with an irresistible groove, it was the perfect way to open up the dancefloor, and guests wasted no time getting involved.

Once the first dance wrapped up, we moved through an incredible mix of genres, ensuring every guest had their moment. Some highlights included:
Disco legends: Earth, Wind & Fire’s "September" and Shalamar’s "A Night to Remember" kept the vibe funky.
Pop anthems: Whitney Houston’s "I Wanna Dance with Somebody" and Outkast’s "Hey Ya!" ensured full-on dancefloor chaos.
Dutch bangers: The bride’s heritage was represented with "Sternenstof" by De Jeugd Van Tegenwoordig, getting a massive reaction from the Dutch side of the wedding party.
Classic singalongs: "Mr. Brightside" by The Killers and "Better Off Alone" by Alice Deejay made for some high-energy, full-volume moments.
As the night reached its peak, the final track of the night was a big one—"Narcotic" by Liquido. A song that resonated with everyone, it brought the night to a euphoric close, with arms around shoulders and voices at full volume.
Unexpected Bangers & Dancefloor Highlights
Curveballs that went OFF: "Gasolina" by Daddy Yankee and "Dance Wiv Me" by Dizzee Rascal & Calvin Harris brought the heat unexpectedly.
Big tunes that worked: Beyoncé’s "Crazy in Love" and Gala’s "Freed from Desire" both got huge reactions.
Underrated classics: "Rebel Rebel" by David Bowie and "Dreams (Deep Dish Remix)" by Stevie Nicks added some serious vibes to the mix.
