WEDDING DJ ONE FRIENDLY PLACE

We love taking on the role of wedding DJ at One Friendly Place. This is a fantastic venue in Lewisham, London, that’s full of character, with lots of quirky spaces (including a roof terrace) and a great party vibe.

When Danielle and Will got in touch about their wedding here we were really excited to be involved. They wanted a proper all-ages party vibe for their dance floor, with everything – literally everything – included. That’s newer chart stuff, disco, Motown, old-school rock, 90s pop and an Indie disco finale. That was just for dancing!

We helped out from much earlier in the day, with wedding breakfast (shout to Cocotte Catering for the amazing food!) sound and tech support (reliable mics and reliable speaker set ups are SO important for speeches), wedding breakfast music, bespoke lighting and DJing alongside a brilliant brass band for drinks (the band also took care of the first dance, Beyonce’s Crazy In Love).

For the last song, Will and Danielle opted for a tried and tested classic; Queen’s We are the Champions, which resulted in some excellent arm in arm shout singing from their guests. Thanks Will and Danielle for having us as part of such a fun day. Check out the review below.
